An abstract painting with a textured black underpainting applied all over the canvas using a palette knife. The peaks in the textured black are highlighted with a crimson red. Metallic silver, lilac and gold have been added to enhance other areas of the painting. The name of this piece arose as I painted it, the hint of hell appeared on the canvas as I laid the colours down, which in turn led me to think of the phrase "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned".
